Acrophobia Information
Acrophobia is a fear of heights. Acrophobia is often mistaken with Vertigo, a sensation of spinning which can often be induced by looking down from a height. Acrophobia can be a possible health risk as Acrophobics can often show symptoms of severe Anxiety making them unable to easily leave the situation. Acrophobia can cause issues within a persons day to day activities such as working in a tall building or climbing stairs.

Acrophobia Causes
Acrophobia can be caused by a sufferer experiencing a traumatic event while at a height. The term Acrophobia is used for persons who suffer a severe fear of heights, a fear of heights is an instinctive nature found in multiple mammals including humans and household pets resulting in reluctance to venture near places with a significant drop.

Acrophobia Treatments
Treatments unknown - although Counseling or Graduated Exposure Therapy.
